Lo cual podr\u00eda traducirse como: \u201cLa gran no iglesia o desintegraci\u00f3n de la iglesia: \u00bfqui\u00e9nes se van, por qu\u00e9 se van y qu\u00e9 se necesita para traerlos de regreso? Los autores se basan en el censo de 2020 para decir que en Estados Unidos, 40 millones de miembros han abandonado la iglesia en los \u00faltimos 25 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La mayor\u00eda de las iglesias en Am\u00e9rica Latina perdieron entre 20% y 80% de sus miembros despu\u00e9s del COVID. La mayor\u00eda de estas personas no regresaron.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poblaci\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica Latina en 2020: 652 millones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evang\u00e9licos en 2020: 130 millones, es decir, 20% de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si perdemos un promedio de 30% de nuestros miembros a causa de COVID, perdemos 39 millones de miembros. \u00a1En tres a\u00f1os!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a1Quien tenga o\u00eddos, escuche! Escuche las palabras de Pablo a los creyentes en \u00c9feso: \u201cDespiertad, los que durm\u00e9is, lev\u00e1ntate de entre los muertos, y Cristo te alumbrar\u00e1\u201d (Efesios 5:14, NVI).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En tiempos de crisis y calamidad, nos aferramos a la promesa de que Jes\u00fas construir\u00e1 su iglesia y las puertas del Hades no prevalecer\u00e1n contra ella (Mt 16:18). Sabemos que las fuerzas externas a la iglesia, como el COVID, nunca la destruir\u00e1n. Pero, como digo en mi carta abierta a pastores e iglesias, hay tres tsunamis internos que est\u00e1n devastando a la iglesia latina.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> La p\u00e9rdida de nuestros j\u00f3venes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> En muchos casos, la p\u00e9rdida de nuestra voz evang\u00e9lica a medida que nos politizamos.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> La p\u00e9rdida de pastores debido al agotamiento, la depresi\u00f3n y el abandono del ministerio.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nos enfrentamos a la grave posibilidad de que Jueces 2:10 se repita en nuestro continente.
