A igreja local n\u00e3o s\u00f3 \u00e9 lavoura de Deus e edif\u00edcio constru\u00eddo sobre Jesus Cristo; tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 santu\u00e1rio de Deus. Literalmente \u201csantu\u00e1rio de Deus\u201d<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (I Cor\u00edntios 3.16-17)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, o que chamamos de Lugar Sant\u00edssimo, lembrando do santu\u00e1rio em Jerusal\u00e9m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0A pergunta: \u201cN\u00e3o sabeis que sois santu\u00e1rio de Deus?\u201d (1 Co 3.16)\u00a0 aparece dez vezes nesta carta, o que indica sua import\u00e2ncia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O templo em Jerusal\u00e9m, como antes o tabern\u00e1culo, era o lugar da presen\u00e7a de Deus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Novo Pacto, confirmado com o sangue de Cristo na cruz, o lugar de habita\u00e7\u00e3o de Deus j\u00e1 n\u00e3o \u00e9 um edif\u00edcio, sen\u00e3o um povo. Isto \u00e9 o que tinha que entender a igreja em Corinto. Eles eram o santu\u00e1rio de Deus; Deus\u00a0 habitava neles e no meio deles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paulo afirma em I Cor\u00edntios 6.19, que Deus habita no corpo de cada crente, que \u00e9 o santu\u00e1rio do Esp\u00edrito Santo. Em I Cor\u00edntios 3, o santu\u00e1rio de Deus \u00e9 a congrega\u00e7\u00e3o local. E em Ef\u00e9sios 2.22, o ap\u00f3stolo Paulo ensina que a igreja universal \u00e9 morada de Deus. Quer dizer que somos santu\u00e1rio de Deus em tr\u00eas sentidos: como crentes em forma individual, como congrega\u00e7\u00e3o local e como igreja universal. J\u00e1 n\u00e3o precisamos de imagens nem s\u00edmbolos da presen\u00e7a de Deus: o Esp\u00edrito Santo habita no Seu povo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dividir, contaminar, enganar a igreja s\u00e3o ofensas muito s\u00e9rias, \u00e9 um ato de viol\u00eancia contra Deus, porque ela \u00e9 o templo de Deus, apesar de todas suas imperfei\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nestas tr\u00eas met\u00e1foras usadas por Paulo, a descri\u00e7\u00e3o que faz da comunidade crist\u00e3 enfatiza a Trindade. Cada uma delas sublinha a obra de Deus Pai, Filho e Esp\u00edrito Santo em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 igreja. Como lavoura de Deus, deve sua exist\u00eancia e crescimento a Deus o Pai. Como edif\u00edcio, est\u00e1 constru\u00edda s\u00f3 sobre Jesus Cristo, Deus o Filho. E como santu\u00e1rio, \u00e9 habitado por Deus Esp\u00edrito Santo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A igreja \u00e9 a \u00fanica comunidade trinit\u00e1ria no mundo. N\u00e3o existe nenhuma outra comunidade que se pare\u00e7a com ela.
