N\u00f3s recebemos permiss\u00e3o para espiar como o Filho comunga com o Pai. N\u00f3s precisamos tirar nossos cal\u00e7ados, uma vez que estamos pisando em solo santo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus ora: Por si pr\u00f3prio, ao aproximar-se da hora da cruz (v. 1-5); Por seus ap\u00f3stolos, a quem ele revelou o Pai e que est\u00e3o reunidos ao seu redor enquanto ele ora (v. 6-19); Por toda a Igreja, presente e futura, constitu\u00edda de todos aqueles que crer\u00e3o nele por meio do ensino dos ap\u00f3stolos (v. 20-26).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nos vers\u00edculos 6-11 Jesus descreve o povo por quem iria orar. \u00c9 uma descri\u00e7\u00e3o bem detalhada e, embora refira-se principalmente aos ap\u00f3stolos, diz respeito a eles como disc\u00edpulos comuns, e n\u00e3o em seu minist\u00e9rio apost\u00f3lico distinto. A descri\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00e9m tr\u00eas partes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Primeiro, eles pertencem a Cristo. Por tr\u00eas vezes Jesus repete a verdade de que o Pai os \u201cdeu\u201d a ele, do mundo (v. 6 e 9), de tal maneira que eles lhe pertencem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Segundo, eles conhecem o Pai. Pois, se o Pai os deu ao Filho, o Filho deu a eles uma revela\u00e7\u00e3o do Pai. Isso tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 repetido: \u201cManifestei o teu nome aos homens que me deste do mundo\u201d (v. 6 e 8). \u00c9 claro que essa revela\u00e7\u00e3o do nome de Deus, essa d\u00e1diva das palavras de Deus, foi feita em primeira inst\u00e2ncia aos ap\u00f3stolos, mas a partir deles ela tem sido transmitida a todos os disc\u00edpulos de Cristo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terceiro, eles vivem no mundo. \u201cJ\u00e1 n\u00e3o estou no mundo\u201d, diz Jesus, \u201cmas eles continuam no mundo, ao passo que eu vou para junto de ti\u201d (v. 11a). Embora eles tenham sido dados \u201cdo mundo\u201d (v. 6) para Cristo, eles permanecem \u201cno mundo\u201d (v. 11a) de onde foram tirados. Eles precisam ser espiritualmente distintos, mas n\u00e3o socialmente segregados. Jesus os deixa para tr\u00e1s como seus representantes ou embaixadores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aqui, ent\u00e3o, est\u00e1 a tripla caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o que Jesus faz do seu povo: Primeiramente o Pai nos deu ao seu Filho. Em segundo lugar, o Filho nos revelou o Pai. Em terceiro, n\u00f3s vivemos no mundo.
