Por que n\u00e3o basta apenas fazer ajustes e melhorar um pouco aqui e um pouco l\u00e1?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recentemente foi publicado um novo livro nos EUA: \u201cThe Great De Churching&#8221;. O que poderia ser traduzido como: \u201cA grande desigreja ou desintegra\u00e7\u00e3o da igreja: quem est\u00e1 saindo, por que est\u00e1 saindo e o que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio para traz\u00ea-los de volta? Os autores baseiam-se no censo de 2020 para dizer que, nos EUA, 40 milh\u00f5es de membros deixaram a igreja nos \u00faltimos 25 anos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A maioria das igrejas na Am\u00e9rica Latina perdeu entre 20% e 80% dos seus membros ap\u00f3s o COVID. A maioria dessas pessoas n\u00e3o voltaram.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Popula\u00e7\u00e3o da Am\u00e9rica Latina em 2020: 652 milh\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evang\u00e9licos em 2020: 130 milh\u00f5es, ou seja, 20% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se perdemos uma m\u00e9dia de 30% dos nossos membros para a COVID, perdemos 39 milh\u00f5es de membros. Em tr\u00eas anos!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quem tem ouvidos, ou\u00e7a! Ou\u00e7a as palavras de Paulo aos crentes de \u00c9feso: \u201cDesperta, tu que dormes, levanta-te dentre os mortos, e Cristo te iluminar\u00e1\u201d (Ef 5:14, NVI).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Em tempos de crise e calamidade, nos apegamos \u00e0 promessa de que Jesus edificar\u00e1 a sua igreja e as portas do Hades n\u00e3o prevalecer\u00e3o contra ela (Mt 16:18). Sabemos que for\u00e7as externas \u00e0 igreja, como a COVID, nunca a destruir\u00e3o. Mas, como digo na minha carta aberta aos pastores e \u00e0s igrejas, h\u00e1 tr\u00eas tsunamis internos que devastam a igreja latina.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A perda dos nossos jovens.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Em muitos casos, a perda da nossa voz evang\u00e9lica ao nos tornarmos politizados.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A perda de pastores por esgotamento, depress\u00e3o e afastamento do minist\u00e9rio.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enfrentamos a s\u00e9ria possibilidade de que Ju\u00edzes 2.10 volte a se repetir em nosso continente. Muitos j\u00e1 me ouviram dizer isso e seus ouvidos j\u00e1 n\u00e3o consideram isso como um som de trombeta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poucos percebem que o contexto da promessa de que as portas do Hades n\u00e3o prevalecer\u00e3o contra a igreja inclui duas condi\u00e7\u00f5es.
